Memory space:

Memory space is an interactive sound installation i did together with Rasmus Dohn in 2017. The installation dealt with the translation of emotions attached to the memory of physical spaces.

When entering the room in which the installation took place, people were immediately confronted with a large black box. After a short amount of time people would notice that there was a flashlight just outside of the entrance into the box. Upon entering the box people would be emerged in complete darkness, exploring the box with the flashlight. Eventually people would discover pictures/memories hanging around inside the box. Flashing the pictures with the light would then trigger musical and environmental sounds evoking a certain mood connected to the memory of the place. All of these sounds would continually change and transform over time, just as our mind continually changes the way we remember things.
