Swallow 2023

Swallow

Swallows are a family of migratory songbirds living and breeding on every continent of the world.
The name of the species originate from the old english word “swelgan” which means “to swallow”.
This name is attributed to the bird due to its habit of aerial feeding, consuming large amounts of insects midair without chewing.
Occasionally the bird will use its beak to smash its prey against the ground dividing the remains into smaller pieces which can be easily devoured.

"Every subject of life swallows each other to continue its entity of life. One remains and the other disappears. It is nature”.

All harmonic and melodic material is appropriated from the American Jazz Bassist and composer Steve Swallow.
